Your golfing prowess is limited only by your ability to hit the ball where you want it to go. Conversely, if you are able to place the ball more accurately, your score will improve.

Instead of concentrating on your score, with Electrum Shot Plotter you focus on your accuracy. Each time you hit the ball, you decide where you want it to land. Then you record the shot according to its proximity to your target - not necessarily to the hole. Each shot is assigned to a category (tee, approach, pitch, etc.) and if you like, you can record the club you use and the number of the hole; the date and time are also recorded.

You can filter the display by shot category, club, hole, or date, or any combination of these.

As well as individual shots, the Shot Plotter display can show a rectangle indicating the average placement. The dimensions of the rectangle are adjusted to reflect the grouping of the shots.

When you use the date filter while averaging, one rectangle shows the average location of the shots that were included in the plot and another shows the shots that were excluded because they were not within the date range. In time, you should be able to determine which of your shots need improvement, and gain insight as to how they might be improved.

The Shot Plotter user interface was designed for maximum efficiency. To avoid convoluted screen navigation, a single screen is used for everything except setting preferences. The number of taps required to perform any function has been kept to a minimum, so you won't impede traffic on the course while you enter your shots. After all, you're out there to play golf, not to fiddle with your PDA!
